The Sith Empire was an empire established in the Unknown Regions by the Jen'jidai James after leaving the core worlds of the True Sith Empire with many loyal followers. This new empire was established in the lush world of Exegol, a lost Human colony world dating from the time of the fall of the Infinite Empire. The human native were primitive and divided in tribes, which were then unified during the so-called Unification Wars. In the aftermath, the human tribes fell under the control of Jen'ari James and were integrated into the nascent Sith society. Those who were Force-sensitive were taken into the care of the Kissai priests, whose task was instructing future Sith according to the philosophical and doctrinal dogmas established by James. At this point, James adopted the ancient Rakatan and Tionese title of Daritha, meaning emperor. With resources taken from both Exegol and nearby worlds, Daritha James ordered the construction of a great city to serve as the capital of the new empire. A new Sith Council was also established, composed solely of eleven members, each representing the Exiles who came to Korriban, excluding Ajunta Pall who became the first Dark Lord.
Over the years, the immortality provided by the Philosopher's Stone made the people of the Sith Empire revere James as a deity. This new Sith civilization formed from the mixture of Humans and Sith was utterly devoted to him, and was not taint
Unknown to the Sith under his rule, the Empire was to serve as a vanguard to James's return to his homeworld, which was located near the borders of the empire.
