The Secretary of Magical Affairs, more commonly known as the Secretary General due to his position as the Deputy to the Minister of Magic, is the Head of the Department of Magical Affairs, and is the leader of the government much like a muggle Prime Minister. He reports to the Minister of Magic and is usually the deputy official of the controling party of Senate. He organizes the Deputy Cabinet which is a portion of the Senior Cabinet designated as the Junior branch. He officially sits as well in the Senate and votes on important issues only. He is the voice of the Minister and has the right to veto any bill that he believes the Minister of Magic would not be pleased with or that is unconstitutional. By law his official residence is Woodhill Estate which is near the Ministry HQ in Memphis.
