History

In late Theological canon

In official Temple doctrine, Lethys's divine status was diminished, and he is portrayed as a petty king who served the demon Nemesis, and was in constant war against Khazar. For his actions against Dyeus and his worshippers, Lethys and his kingdom were obliterated by the god.

The association of dogs and wolves with Lethys also makes canines anathema towards any Dyeus faithful, leading to the prohibition of dogs in temples, homes, and any other establishment, as well as their employment in tasks such as hunting.
