The Hermandad de Libres (Brotherhood of the Freemen) is a prestigious fraternity within La Salamanca, Argentina's esteemed school of Magic, founded in 1750 after the closing of the "La Orden Secreta de los Libres y Antiguos", (Secret Order of the Free and Ancient) a highly hermetic and ritualized organization devoted to group those of the "noblest" lineage and turned them into a powerful aristocracy within the Nation, Purple and Green was their original colour. La Hermandad de Libre was created after the spliting of the SOFA group along side the Orden de los Patricios fraternity. This fraternity is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom, and intellectual freedom. Its members, known as Libres or Freemen, are academically motivated and talented students who prize originality in their ideas and approaches to magic.

Members of this house were characterised by their wit, learning, Memory and wisdom. The emblematic animal symbol is the Culebrón, and Green and Golden its colours.
