"While James was hot-headed, Lilian was able to keep him under control. Like Yin and Yang, they balance each other out perfectly"
— A summary of James and Lilian's relationship

James Charles Fleamont and Lilian Jeanette Aaliyah Potter were a famous and beloved married couple and the secondary godparents of Kamaria Prince-Slytherin. They were Gryffindor students during their tenure at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1971 to 1978 and secret members of the Death Eaters, working as spies for Tom and Severus.

They were born in March and January 1960 respectively, but both of them died on 31 October 1981 in their own home; murdered by Albus Dumbledore on Halloween in 1981 while trying to protect their goddaughter and return her to her parents. Lilian and James were remembered for their efforts to save Kamaria and to stop Dumbledore, and Severus Prince-Slytherin, a close family friend of theirs, named his second daughter after them as a late reward and thank-you: little Lilian Jamie Nicole Prince-Slytherin, who was born on the 30th of November in the year of 2000; 19 years after their death.

A monument of them was constructed in Godric's Hollow to honor their bravery and sacrifice. To make their memory even more special. Severus carved a message that read: "For when the morning sun rises, the evening sun sets. You may be gone from this world, but the memories and friendship we had will forever remain; as all living things eventually have to die. Never will you be forgotten; but remembered as two of the bravest wizards to ever grace our lives. As a phoenix rises from the ashes, your names will forever be remembered; James Charles Fleamont and Lilian Jeanette Aaliyah Potter."
