The Noble House of Pazos is one of the more famous pure-blooded wizarding families in Argentina, and one of the Sacred Nine Families. While originally one of the "less noble" houses (as being a new one), the House of Pazos became synonymous with elevated status and honour thanks to the actions of Don Pedro Aitor Pazos "The Wise" instrumental in the Independence of Wizarding Argentina and one of the original founders of the Argentinian Council of Magic.
The Pazos family home is located at Montserrat Neighborhood in Buenos Ayres, Argentina. The Pazos placed a great importance on blood purity and disdaining Muggles, Squibs, blood traitors, and Muggle-borns. After Don Pedro's work, the house became more tolerant and for over 40 years held a strong presence in Argentinian Politics. The Pazos family traces its origin back to the XVII Century, to the Iberian peninsula, specifically Galicia.

The Pazos have historically prefered the study of Conjuration Magic, excelling in Teleportation and minor Alchemy. Don Pazos was the creator of the modern iteration of the Aljibe Network thanks to his knowledge in advance conjuration.

The Noble Heirloom of House Pazos is the "Seven-leagues Boots", a pair of boots brought from Iberia, that can teleport it's user up to 55 km in any direction.
Etimology[]
- The word "pazo" is a cognate for "Palace", proceding from latin palatiu(m). In Galicia the noble house that replace the medieval Tower is called "Pazos".
- The seven League Boots are a legend from the european folklore.
