Donnell Bixby served as Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1848 to 1869. Unlike his predecessor, Albiron Mattingdom Donnell Bixby was firmly in the pocket of the Board of Governors (Ajrand).
After 21 sucessful years as Headmaster, Bixby retired to live out his days at White Oaks. He died peacefully and without notice in 1900.
His successor as Headmaster was Ephraim Hiller.
