Demontoderism is a dark substance which most Dementors (and creatures related to Dementors) spawns,forms and shapes from. It comes in various forms, both in liquid form and in a crystal form.
Description[]
Demontoderism can come come in the form of liquid or in a crystalized version of itself. It has the colours of black, gray-green, purple with shades of light and dark gray. In the darkes places there is a chance that dementors slowly grow into existence nearby the pools or crystal floors and walls.
History[]
Demontoderism has existed as long as dementors have existed. The essence has been known to be the source of the dementors as many dementors are formed and grows like fungus in pools of or at least nearby the essence.
The prime reason why there were so many dementors in Azkaban was mostly due to nearby islands had darkest of Caves filled with Demontoderism. A similiar case was Nurmengard, Grindewald used the Demontoderism to create dementors for his army.
Crystalized Demontoderism can be used as wandcores.
