Ceredon Gaunt was a pureb-lood wizard who was sorted into Hufflepuff. He became a writer of renown.

Early life and Hogwarts[]
Ceredon was the second son of Marvolo Gaunt,Master of Gaunt Hall from 1608 to 1629, and the former Anise Bell. Ceredon was tutored by the Magizoologist Heribert Mueller-Swann.
Ceredon began attending Hogwarts on September 1, 1624,and was the first of six Gaunts sorted into Hufflepuff. He was above average in his studies,but didn’t achieve his dream of making the house Quidditch team. In 1630,he became a Prefect.

Ceredon married Jolyssa Spinnet on March 7, 1639. They had five children.
