Celestina Switch (b. 1959/1960) is a witch and the daughter of Beth and Braden Switch. She is the wife of Severus Snape, mother of Valeria Switch, and the mother-in-law of Silina Switch.
Backstory[]

Celestina is an only child. She grew up in a suburban town (near Hogwarts, though she did not yet know it). Her father was very protective of her. When Celestina got her Hogwarts letter, her parents were very nervous at first, but then, once they finally understood that Celestina was a witch, became enthusiastic and supportive.
Early years at Hogwarts[]

Celestina was sorted into Gryffindor and immediately made fast friends with Lily Evans. Since Lily was also friends with Severus Snape, Celestina also had Severus in her inner circle. Celestina did not immediately like Severus, though she eventually learned to include him. Celestina also formed a mild rivalry with James Potter.

In her fifth year, Celestina began to have a crush on Severus, which grew to become quite overprotective. When James began to bully Severus, she immediately attacked James, jumping to Severus's defense.
