Asgard Whitby was a classmate, friend and fellow Auror of Roderick Prince. He was the only son of Fintan Whitby and his wife, Ciara. Growing up, Whitby was close to his maternal uncle Francis and his aunt Maeve. They lived just north of Down, in Seapatrick, in a comfortable little house along the Lurgan road.
Asgard's first childhood friend was a Muggle named Didacus Mulpepper.
