Don Aitor Pedro Pazos, (1675-1875) was an Argentinian Noble Wizard of the House of Pazos, who is most famous for his key work in the process of independence of Magical Rio de la Plata and the later creation of the Argentinian Council of Magic .

Biography[]

Don Aitor was a former profesor of Conjuration in la Salamanca in 1740 he begun teaching, during his school years he was a member of the SOFA group. In 1750 he became a main proponent for the dissolusion of the SOFA society (even though he was a former he was againt the negative influence of this group) and was instrumental in the later creation of two new groups to counter-blance the big student corpus. He became the first Fraternity leader of the Freemen Brotherhood. From 1754 to 1765, Don Pazos became Headmaster of La Salamanca. During these days Don Pazos was an instrumental member behind the design and construction of the Aljibe Network using the Majan magical powder.

Don Pazos, traveled to Europe in 1766, and was present during the French Revolution, where he learn lots from politics from the Nomajis (Philosophers and Politicians). After his return to America, Don Pazos devised the creation of a wizard military force (Andalucian Tercio and the later Militias) in 1789 as a way to pave the future for it's nationalitic project.

Don Pazos became one of the key players behind the independece movement in Rio de la Plata. In 1770 the Silver mines of Potosi were being exploited by Goblins under the servitude to the Spanish Ministry of Magic, they were plotting a rebellion (likely to be defeated), when Don Pazos managed to convince them to stall their uprising and became future allies in his upcoming independence war, for that, Don Pazos granted them the future rights of control of the mines, thus cimenting the future Alfidan Bank. 

When the First Council was declared, he acted as a Secretary instrumentally creating the "Magical Constitution" upon the new nation was to be built. This Constitutions was built as a powerful Magical Contract on it's preamble and key principles, to be instrumented upon the new State, with further laws not directly affected by the main pact (albeith equally enforceable).

Eventually he left and settle as a "Private Counsultant" for the definitive goverment.

Magical abilities and skills[]

  • Magical mastery: Don Pazos was noted to be very talented and skilled while still a student of La Salamanca, Pazos as an adult was known to be an expert charm master and Arithmancer.
  • Intellectual genius: Pazos was not only a great wizard, but also possessed a tremendous level of intellect, considered by most to be a brilliant person.
  • Charisma: Even as a young man, Pazos was highly talented in manipulating and inspiring others, his greatest skill wasn't so much leading people, but mediating between others and achieving results in conflict situations.
  • Elemental magic mastery: Pazos was a recognized wizard able to control elemental magic.
  • Apparition: Don Aitor, as a proper scion of the Pazos Noble House, was extremely skilled in Apparition, capable of Apparating with pin-point precision and speed, even while in a quickly moving frame of reference.
  • Occlumency: Don Pazos was an accomplished Occlumens, being able to fully conceal his thoughts from talented Legilimens.
  • Divination: Don Pazos was a Seer and thus had a naturally excellent level of expertise and knowledge on Divination. He could retain awareness when seeing his visions in order to be able to know what he saw and was able to craft a skull-hookah capable of enhancing his visions and using it to allow others to see them too. It is said the construction and sustaining of the Wizarding Argentina, was a life's work fueled by his visions.
  • Wandless and nonverbal magic: Pazos was extremely skilled in both wandless and nonverbal magic, even if he rarely displayed this skills in combat.
  • Indomitable willpower: Pazos had tremendous willpower, and it is said he never spend a single day of his long life idle.
